The following comments were included in
the
nominations for this series:
"This is the first part to a great series!
It was one of the very first JAG fanfiction series that I've
read and it got me hooked. The Harm and Mac
characterization was great (very shippery!)!"
And...
"After the Unraveled Series ended, there
was a lot of feedback on the lists asking Kim to keep the
storyline going. People also wanted to see more of the
McKenzie family. This series was a long time in
coming, and there was a gap in the middle when Kim became
stuck, but boy, did it pay off in the end! I've always
felt this was her best work of all."
And...
"(regarding "Run Silent, Run Deep") This
chapter began a slow turning point of the series, heating
things up not only between Harm and Mac but also with the
action. Kim managed to bring together so much between
our favorite pair even though they aren't even speaking and
the tension is high."
And...
"(regarding "No Man's Land") This
was by far the most intense action I've read from Kim and I
loved it. We got to see a darker side of Harm and the
emotion in these pages reached right for the heart."
And...
"(regarding "No Solace in Remembering")
Out of the whole series, I have a tug of war between "No
Man's Land" and this chapter as to which is my favorite.
There is a powerful punch here between Harm and Mac when
they finally have to overcome all that's happened. But
with all of Kim's stories, things are never what they seem."
And...
"(regarding "Execution of Justice")
And the end finally arrives. I was sorry to see it,
but also glad because this series was a rollercoaster and I
was dying to know how it would all turn out. I was not
disappointed." |
